Over the past few weeks, we have successfully commissioned the new section of our glass bottling line—from the bottle feeder through the rinser, filler, cleaning station, and capper, up to the point just before the labeler. This now enables us to flexibly fill all five glass bottle formats with different closure types and even with shrink caps.

With this expansion, we have taken another important step forward in automation and efficiency. If necessary, the bottles can now be washed from the outside in addition to being rinsed. Furthermore, the bottles are no longer loaded manually; instead, a glass depalletizer places them layer by layer onto the conveyor. This ensures more efficient processes and significantly higher throughput.

Even though a few details still need to be optimized, the project was implemented very successfully thanks to the dedicated efforts of our employees. In this way, we are creating the conditions to even better meet the growing demand for specialty, organic, and Demeter products in the vinegar segment.
