Reismühle Nutrex, as a division of the Coop Cooperative, was able to officially open the new vinegar plant in Brunnen on Thursday, September 1, 2022. At the same time, Reismühle turned 66 years old and Nutrex 80 years old.

At the opening, Coop CEO Phillip Wyss spoke about sustainability, which is also a central theme at the new plant, as well as the importance of production operations in the Coop Group and Switzerland as a location. On the first two days, more than 350 invited guests came, they consisted of representatives of the Coop Group with Joos Suter, Doris Leuthard, the complete Coop GL as well as many political celebrities; such as National Council, Council of States, government councils, community representatives Bio Swiss, Helvetas, customers and partners. Also our suppliers from Thailand, Greece, Italy, Germany and Switzerland inaugurated the site, as usual down-to-earth simple at Reismühle Nutrex.

A total of three days were used to present the site to invited guests, as well as the general public. The expectations were far exceeded. More than 2,200 people came and were amazed by the size, the technology, the variety of varieties and the quantity produced.
